To uphold the enduring spirit of Vietnamese compassion—rooted in the tradition of “the good leaves protect the torn ones,” and embracing love and mutual support as a way of life—on August 6, 2024, the Youth Union Saigon International College organized a community exchange event to show care and share with children at the community learning center in Tan Thoi Hoa Ward, Tan Phu District.
During the event, the Youth Union presented meaningful gifts to the children, including 10 million VND, 500 blank notebooks, 100 reusable children’s fabric masks, and assorted sweets. These were donated from the 2024 fund for social welfare and gratitude initiatives.
It is hoped that this exchange will inspire the children to continue striving in their studies and pursue their dreams. At the same time, it offered memorable experiences for the Youth Union members and SIC students, helping to spread kindness and multiply acts of goodwill throughout the community.
